Health examination for the unemployed

The health examination for unempolyed is promoted and paid by the Suomussalmi municipality. The purpose of health examinations is to promote the health, well-being and work capacity of the unemployed. Taking care of one's own work capacity facilitates re-employment and returning to work as well as maintaining the physical and mental well-being of job seekers. The idea behind health examination is to prevent the emergence of potential health problems.

In Suomussalmi the service is provided by the wellbeing services county of Kainuu (Kainuun hyvinvointialue).
